The Golden Chapel Hidden Away In Fitzrovia

The term "hidden gem" gets thrown around a lot in a city as full of surprises as London – but Fitzrovia Chapel truly deserves the accolade. Built in 1891, this Grade-II listed stunner is the last remaining building of the former Middlesex Hospital and is a true city centre sanctuary. Take a breather from bustling Fitzrovia every Wednesday, when the chapel is open and free to visit from 11am-4pm.

This year, Fitzrovia Chapel is fundraising to repair damage to the spectacular mosaic floor. After your quiet moments of contemplation and admiration, don't forget to drop a few pennies in the donation box on your way out.

Fitzrovia Chapel, 2 Pearson Square, W1T 3BF.
